WHALES
We spent a few days whale watching at Telegraph Cove with Stubbs Island Whale Watching company. You can visit them at www.stubbs-island.com It was an unbelievable trip!
When you are viewing wildlife, there are no guarantees that you will see anything, but we saw whales on every trip. With 6 trips out on the ocean, we saw between 6 and 60 Killer whales each time we went out. The Stubbs island staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and did their best to educate us on what animals we were seeing and what their behaviors meant. Each experience was different than the last and each trip was very entertaining and educational! I have been whale watching with two other whale watching companies before Stubbs and I will never waste my time with any another whale watching company on the west coast again. The experience with Stubbs was just that much better.
Thanks Jim, Mary, Wayne, Jackie and the rest of the Stubbs staff. It was a very special and unforgettable experience. We look forward to seeing you again next September!
